From our Florida trip to Georgia, to back home to our lovely Ohio. What a beautiful adventure. Our journey was stunning. From wild elk, turkeys, mountains, valleys, waterways, incredible skies and fields—we experienced it all, and we didn’t take for granted what a beautiful world God created for us. We squeezed in a pit stop for Georgia peaches and then Paula Dean’s biscuits and we were good-to-go. Until our next adventure ✌🏻 On our way home from Destin, we stopped through for a night in Georgia to stay with God-sent friends, and—always incredible host, at their beautiful home for a fun Memorial Day celebration. Lake time, pool time hangs, good food and conversations and a dwelling feeling to savor and enjoy the goodness of life. Thankful for moments like these that inspire your soul. 💕 Finished our Destin days well. Night frog listening, more beach time, saying goodbye to those oceans waves and ending the trip with a rainy day for beginning our way home. Loved every second. Lost in adventures in Destin. Beach time, fancy dinners, ocean waves, Baytown Wharf exploration, and scoring on bubble gum cigarettes. Who remembers these? We freaked our kids out with this. Literally just bubble gum + powdered sugar. 😂 Kid throwback. Destin, Florida family time. Shopping, relaxing, deep sea fishing bro day and girls day at the pool. 🌴 🏖️ P.S. Happy Memorial Day!! Destin bound. ☀️ Destin found. The nice perk about Tom’s travel is we tag along as much as we can. Grabbing up that family time. Travel, good food, condo reveal, and great views. #savoringlife #familytime #summerbaby Mother’s Day weekend trip. Such a success. Such a gift. One day trip to Jacksonville Beach, and many, many days spent in those good old lazy rivers and pools. I soaked up motherhood while fully allowing myself to swim like a kid with no care. Relaxed by the pool, soaking up Jesus time and safe dusk sun (fried tomato problems! 😬 Irish blood running deep). Missed my kiddos being babies, but learning to embrace this more grown up phase they are entering into. Motherhood is a tricky place of them needing you and you needing them. Regardless, cherishing all these amazing moments God blesses us for life, joy and memories to be made. Thankful beyond words. Also, big thank you to @tomcuree @mantiquingwithmywife who is always slaying to provide for us. #mothersdaygetaway #cherishinglife #lifeisagift 40 years old. Yeah, ok, I get it…I’m forty years old now and I’m just now hitting some BIG milestones if you ask me. I know it’s ridiculous but for the first time I drove through a car wash all by myself—I don’t know why, it’s one of those things I always felt freaked out to do, like I was going to somehow majorly screw it up. Maybe it’s from watching too many, “when things go wrong shows” as a kid. Either way I conquered my fear this week and just did the darn thing. Secondly, I faced my fear of driving to the airport without Tom! What got even more challenging was that Tom was supposed to meet us at the airport (arriving from another work conference) to fly with us to Orlando, FL for a gifted Mother’s Day Weekend. This would allow us to still be together for another work conference and Mother’s Day weekend. However, per usual with airports, all Tom’s travel got screwed up and the only way for him to get to Orlando was to take a two hour Uber drive to fly from Arkansas to New Orleans to Orlando to meet us. So, with self-motivating speeches, Jesus’s hand in mind, encouragement from my momma, Tom and friends, I put my big girl britches on and faced more fears of the unknown. Got all four kiddos and I, our luggage, etc. all safely to the airport, through shuttles, through security and clear, and on plane like a freaking boss lady. Blotchy, a little sweaty, and shaky but I did it. Tom’s seat sat empty, we landed safely and we were ever so thankful to see Tom again. So yeah, I’m 40 now and I’m pretty much knocking down fears left and right. What’s next to conquer? We shall see. Feeling pretty proud of myself and learned I can read directions!! 😜 #mothersdaygetaway P.S. also a big thank you to my kiddos for helping me, for Nakoda’s help reading signs to the airport and as always for her help with everyone’s hair 😜. Together we made this trip possible! Shop is set up for spring in our 1973 Airstream and you can shop us until 4pm today right here on our property in our barn drive:
